generally sort of lonely and tired of the world, he dealt with severe abuse at the hands of HABIT and hurt other people because of it. evan still grapples with feelings of self hatred because of this, and he feels like his abuse was deserved because he hurt others in the process. he believes deep down that he's at fault for everything and there's no way to fix it - all he can do is wallow in guilt.
